Baudelaire

Social advocacy that helps individuals who are at a linguistic or cultural disadvantage navigate complex legal and regulatory systems.

The heart of social advocacy must be understanding. How language is used, how language is translated, how people behavior, and how the legal system works are filled with nuances and codes that are not always obvious on the surface. Being able to ‘read between the lines’ is an essential skill, not easily taught, but mostly gained through observation and experience. Yvette Baudelaire combines formal education with lived education giving her insights into human behavior as it is expressed through the multiplex of culture and individual psychology. Her experience with the legal system has spanned many years and ranged as high as the Minnesota Supreme Court.
